Introducing Liv Moore Photography
Five years ago as a vet student I brought home my first puppy, Avi, in a time when I was really struggling in my life. I reckoned I was going to raise the most well-adjusted, well-behaved little dog ever. Avi had other ideas!
He turned my world upside down, and yet I could not imagine a world without him in it.
While we had (and still have) our struggles, I have never met a more intelligent, cheeky, affectionate little dog than the one I brought home those five years ago. His love for life is just so infectious that it was inevitable that my world was destined to grow from the moment he entered it.
So, we started to explore together. And while adventuring with a tiny, fluffy, ridiculously cute puppy it was kind of inevitable that I would pick a camera up for the first time in years to rediscover a love for photography.
At the same time, I was developing a deeper understanding of our canine companions— their behaviour, their role in our modern world and their importance to the people that love them.
Not only did Avi bring me back to creativity through dog photography, but he led me to study a Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour too. As time has passed I have worked with so many different dogs and their people, and I have seen so much of the love between me and my dogs in other families.
I realised I want people to have the same gorgeous keepsakes of their best friends that I have of my dogs. After all, they’re only with us for so long. What better way to immortalise them than by portraits that showcase who they are and why you love them, to keep in your home for years to come?
So I’ve decided to start offering fine art outdoor dog photography sessions in Lancashire through my new business Liv Moore Photography.
